Summary: A discreet spot in Shepherd Market offers a 20 course omakase with local ingredients and a sake pairing
Maru is a tiny, elegant shrine to omakase set in a discreet entrance. The menu runs to about 20 courses, built on high quality produce and largely British ingredients including Cornish seafood, with a sake pairing to accompany. The team balances hands-on preparation with a calm, focused service. Yasuhiro Ochiai now oversees the kitchen while Taiji Maruyama designed much of the experience, down to the crockery.
